Lighting Enhanced Design, was born from my love of lighting and my expertise and vast experience with technology. Starting out by helping friends with static holiday light displays I began to understand how different lights, in shape, size and color can all come together to create a beautiful and inspiring display. As new and innovative lighting products became available, I started to immerse myself into these products and how they could be used conventionally as well as unconventionally.

As I began to understand how the products work, a flood of ideas came to mind, and I started incorporating those ideas into my own home. The individually addressable RGB LED (red, green, blue light emitting diode) began to open a world of possibility for creative and interactive lighting. Once I understood how the technology worked, I set out to provide an end-to-end solution for custom residential interactive lighting. Drawing off my 20+ years in technology and my newly acquired knowledge or RGB lighting I was able to develop a mobile application that had the ability to control widely available and popular products used in the lighting industry. But I also took it one step farther. Instead of just selecting pre-determined colors and patterns, I put control in the user’s hands to create lighting displays that are limited only by the user’s imagination.
